i figured out if i hooked my vcr into the mix i could tape my games then go back and review and formulate a better plan
Did this actually work?
it did, with rush 'n attack i was able to time the waves of soldiers coming in from the right so i knew when to jump
i used it for the sega genesis xmen game where you fought mojo. i always got stumped in the one part where the simulation ended and i wasnt sure what to do. then i got pissed and hit the reset button and that is exactly what you were supposed to do. what sane normal kid would hit reset 3/4 of the way through a game it took an hour or so to get to? the kind of kid that would hook a vcr up to his tv to tape his games that is who
WTF?
here is the link basically when you are trapped by mojo prof x tells you to reset the computer so you look all around the room for a computer to reset. in reality you have to hit the reset button on your console

The other day I started going through MK8 on the WiiU to get three stars on all the races. I usually can't because I'm the only one who likes racing, the other two bozos here like to battle. Anyway, I knocked out 50cc and started on 100cc. The very first race I was hit by a blue shell and two red shells right at the finish line and finished fourth. That's not fun!
The worst is when you get 1st in 3 of the races in a cup and then the 4th race you just have no shot. It is clear the computer isn't going to give it to you no matter how well you are racing.
That happened the second time I tried. I gave up after that and started playing New Super Luigi U. Just as maddening but it's my fault when I fail at least

I hate that this Chromebook is a touchscreen but isn't a "tablet" according to Chrome OS. So I can access the Play store and I can download most of the games but they won't start. Which is stupid because it tells you if it's compatible with your system right there on the page (some do say it won't work, and that's nice).
I will hate this less once I go home and am less bored.
Also I hate those games like Clash of Clans where you have to defend yourself against other people as well as play the game proper. Google gave me $20 free credit for a game for some reason so I checked it out. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the whole thing up to the "you have to online and ready to defend your castle against ANYONE at ANYTIME. Oh and you should join a guild or you'll be dead." So I deleted the thing.

I have two touchscreen CBs that aren't tablets and they both run Android games just fine.

I must be doing something wrong because every game I download won't start. Granted I haven't tried that many but I just didn't feel like randomly downloading some. I'm going to try Monument Valley, and older game, and see. It says it can be downloaded so once it's done (hospital wifi isn't the best) I'll come back.
I grabbed CoD: WW2 on Black Friday. I popped it in yesterday. A required 40gb update. I guess I’ll get to play it tomorrow. I hate large updates. This is the largest one I’ve ever seen. Such a total buzzkill.

Love playing FIFA. Sometimes I win a few in a row, and most often I trade wins, draws and losses with various random online players, as I struggle my way up and down the divisions. But I really hate when I go on a losing streak. I've googled it, and I think it's on purpose from EA. Suddenly your opponent is much stronger, the ref is against you, any pass or shot goes wide.
Statistics show that players on a losing streak, seldom quit the game.
