The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I really don't want to turn into one of those guys, but I am considering buying MLB The Show 2020 after just buying The Show '19 last year (I previously went 6 years between versions). Had a good time playing different challenges and unlcoking things last year (without any microtransactions, which I felt a sense of accomplishment for), but I almost feel like it's a waste because I haven't touched the franchise and other modes from last year, and the roster update will be so minuscule. But David Ortiz will be unlockable this year.

It's simple but effective. The guy lost his daughter. He slowly comes around and takes Ellie in as if she's his own daughter. He chooses her life over potentially saving the world. That's some real shit.

If by “real” you mean “tired and hackneyed”
Anyway I’ve slandered that terrible boring piece of shit game enough on RM, carry on
Every story has been done many times. It's how well it's executed, how believable it is that matters. Your own story has been done before, too. It only matters if you care. I cared very much for Joel and Ellie. That's why it's good.

Is Ghost of Tsushima one of those brutal difficulty games?
I don't think so.
What's it like?
Aside from one gameplay video that came out during E3 2018, we haven't seen it in action much. Although I do recall reading an article with the developer where he said they were aiming not to make the game accessible to casual players (I assume through varying difficulty levels) so that everyone can enjoy and get through the main story. I for one am hoping it's not crazy hard to play as I fall more into the casual gamer realm. They've been billing this as a third person action-adventure and not an RPG, which is good for me cause I normally find RPGs much more difficult the the former.

This game really does look gorgeous.
So an action/ adventure game that's tries not to be an RPG. Ummm... so like Mass Effect 2 or 3?
