The Max Payne remake might sell me on the PS5, as long as it's not another "GTA Definitive Edition" remake.

It says its still in concept phase, so that may be years out.

Interesting! I’d be more into Tentacle 3 (or even The Dig 2), but I’ll take it.

Sounds like Sony is buying Konami.

Where are you seeing that? Konami is a tough sell because they make so much money on pachinko machines.

sounds fake. The sources that posted it earlier deleted it.

I never played Gears of War, but I always thought of this as an Ikari Warriors reboot.

If the rumors are true, it was far from a next gen experience. No need for another Cyberpunk situation.

I actually am shocked by that. They planted their date in the ground a year ago. Redfall, not surprised by that.

This is the last weekend to buy digital games with a credit card for the 3DS and WiiU.

State of Play was kinda meh. Only must buy game for me is Tunic. Stray and the game with the girl on the bike who records sounds look promising. Horizon VR was visually impressive. Very surprised there was no God of War date announced - box art leaked and its already been rated in some regions.

There will be a whole presentation dedicated to God of War later this summer most likely if the September release date rumors are accurate.

I actually thought Sony delivered on this State of Play compared to the last two, which were utterly forgettable. I didn't really care for most of the games they announced but they delivered on many of the titles that fans were asking for (FF XVI, RE4, VR2 news). Agree though my hopes are still up for a GoW devoted State of Play--I'm seriously doubting a Sep release date now that we're in June and still no sign of anything (aside from the rating). I think the box art that was leaked was fan made, unless I have bad intel.

Was glad to see RE4 finally officially announced; if it's anywhere near as good RE2, I'm pumped. I could never finish the original RE4 because the control scheme was so bad. I just hope they do a proper, full-length remake and not half ass it like RE3.

The Callisto Protocol looks surprisingly good, will now need to keep my eye on that one.

I could care less about FF XVI and SF 6 but thought they were pretty significant announcements nonetheless.

New Horizon FW update is great, if not already expected. I'm hoping we see a full blown expansion a la Frozen Wilds by the end of the year/early next.

I have yet to try any kind of VR gaming rig yet but think I'll give the PS VR2 a whirl when it finally drops...though I still don't think we know when that is, right?

Tunic is awesome. Happy PS players get to enjoy it.

Never been a FF player and spooky games don’t do much for me. Cool that SF will be multiplat this time but I’m not a fighting game guy.

I completely lapsed on the fact that the 2022 Game Fest starts this Thursday and Sony will be there. Fingers are crossed for some long-awaited GoW news (at least a release date) or maybe a little insight on the heavily rumored Last of Us remake, especially since Sony is skipping E3 yet again.

Microsoft also has an event on Sunday; really want to hear more about Starfield status and the Perfect Dark remake....

Last of Us Remake in September. I'd ask why, but I will buy it again and just answer the question with my wallet.

Same, in fact I'm probably gonna pre-order tonight. Bend me right over, Naughty Dog!

No GoW news :(
