The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I restarted Red Dead 2 and god damn it’s still incredible and maybe the best looking game ever, especially with whatever uprez it gets from next gen systems.

I picked up Disco Elysium today on sale for $20. I'm only a couple of hours in but it feels like it's going to be a special game.
Damn, this game is good. It's been on my mind a lot this morning. Looking forward to putting a few more hours in tonight.
So for anyone who’s interested, the lead designer of Disco Elysium, Robert Kurvitz, wrote a novel about a decade ago called Sacred and Terrible Air, which takes place in the same universe as the game (I’ve heard it described as a prequel, but I don’t know how accurate that is). It was written in Estonian and no official English translation exists, but I just found out that about 2 months ago, an extensive fan translation was completed. Here’s a link to the English version: https://gofile.io/d/XR6BKy

Thanks for this. I've just downloaded it to my Kindle.
Apparently, there's a "new game plus" feature (everyone wants to be Dark Souls, innit), and all of the difficulty is gated behind having beaten the game once already. All of the footage I've seen of people playing XVI shows them absolutely obliterating everything with ease.
Hopped back into some cyberpunk with Shadowrun: Dragonfall.
Cloud saves on Steam meant that I could pick up where I left off 6 (!?) years ago after getting pummelled during a particular late-game mission and being too proud to enlist the help of a walkthrough. I should have kept at it -- it's great.
Once this one's done, I still have Shadowrun: Hong Kong to play. Psyched about that. Harebrianed Schemes don't seem to miss. They were responsible for 2018's BattleTech, which is a masterful strategy game set in the MechWarrior universe. Highly recommended if you're into turn-based/tactics type shit.
I still need to beat Final Fantasy IV. I have a save file in the final dungeon, but it's been 22 years and my PS1 is in storage. I'll do it eventually.

Will you start from scratch or your last save?
