The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Horizon or Bloodborne. Both are top 5 games of the console generation for me.
Do you like a good, fair challenge in your games? Would you consider yourself a patient gamer? Both require your full attention during gameplay, using strategic methods to kill enemies.
I'm quite jealous you will get to experience one or both of those games for the first time.
Was waiting around in my basement on some paint to dry and popped in Rogue Squadron on the 64 (all my older SD consoles are hooked up to a CRT TV in the basement). A few rough visuals aside, it still holds up. The sound design is great.
My son was even attracted to the bright yellow controller. He picked it up, and had no idea how to hold that damn controller either.

Currently going through one of my many Mass Effect 3 runs, and due to a console glitch (which is now resolved), I went digging around in some system settings on my 360 and discovered the “Reference Levels” setting. Which was set to fucking standard. So all this time I’ve just thought my 4K TV was just showing the flaws in the 360’s visual capabilities. Nope. Just a bad setting. Changed it to “Expanded” and it’s night and fucking day. Sigh.

I did a full on calibration with test patterns a few weeks ago for my ps4 input. Definitely notice a difference. Need to do it for the TV inputs still.

What kind of TV do you have?
TCL Roku...S series I think? It’s 4K HDR, but I’m not too clear beyond that.

Nice. Can’t do better than TCL when it comes to budget 4K.

Paragon or Renegade? What's your class?
I play down the middle, with a heavy paragon slant. Soldier class. You?

I think I've played as a Vanguard and Infiltrator. I like the hybrid classes and playing as a Paragon. Vanguard is my favorite.
Was looking through my PS4 back-catalog, and saw that I apparently grabbed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided when it was free at some point. Looks cool, and the DE love in the game tourney has me intrigued. Am downloading now, will give this a world this weekend.
I didn't like that one as much as Human Revolution in terms of story, but it's definitely easier to play.
Also, I finally got Prey and it's even better than I thought it would be. Basically Dishonored, Bioshock, Deus Ex, and all those other deep first-person stealth/RPG games mixed into a blender and set on an alternate-history space station. I seriously LOVE this game so far. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to play it, but I did get it and Dishonored 2 in a bundle for $28, so not that much.
