Went to a garage sale and found a PS3 sitting with a $5 price tag. Asked if it worked and they said it did, just that it was hard to turn off. (ok...?) So I figured for $5 it wasn't a terrible purchase. I was at another garage sale and found Skyrim for $5 and a copy of PS3 Destiny for $1.
Got home and plugged the PS3 in and it booted right to their account, and even signed into the PS Store automatically. Geez people. I didn't buy anything - and I'm not going to - but man they had a lot of DLC in their download list. They had the Telltale BttF game plus all of the Mass Effect packs in there, plus some other stuff like Minecraft and a whole crap-ton of those packs.
Can't wait to put my account on it so I can download and play Burnout again. Might look for a copy of Split/Second as well, my second favorite racing game of that generation.

I don't get the draw to this game. Seems like a fairly straightforward MV platformer with cartoony graphics. Why does everyone love it so? What am I missing?

The art design, atmosphere, character design, fluidity of combat, and the core heal/special mechanic.
I beat the lady you follow in the garden world.. with the new dash power I opened up a mushroom world (which I explored a good bit of) and a jellyfish world.. I think I also have access to a mining world that I didn't even get into..
It's so good, can't believe it doesn't have its own thread (or does it)
I just beat Crusader of Centy for Genesis. Very good game. Landstalker is probably the better Zelda-ish game for Genesis though. I wasn’t about to drop $500-$1000 on an original cart, so I bought a hq reproduction. They are able to reprogram existing Genesis carts. This type of reproduction seems to work better than modern component reproductions.

Yeah it's pretty fun. Takes me back to my old regular Nintendo days with Nintendo World Cup where players would just die on the field and you'd play around them. The franchise mode actually forces you to take care of your team too. It was $15 on PS4 and I think that's fair.
