Trailer 3 was definitely better than Trailer 2, but what really got me was IGN and the Telegraph's coverage of the demo. My enthusiasm for this game just shot through the roof again. Visuals look absolutely gorgeous....

Same, the descriptions/impressions of the gameplay are what totally sold me.

My wife preordered this for me for Christmas...in 2016. Glad its release is finally imminent and I can't wait to play it!

I preordered back in the Fall of 2016 as well but I got so pissed off with the delays that I ended up canceling it. I don't normally do special editions of games (unless they come with season passes), but for this one I may just have to go all out and buy the most expensive edition. We're supposed to see the special editions info released next month, presumably when the real pre-orders open up....

I've started Red Dead twice but never actually gotten very far. I don't know why. I've enjoyed it both times but just get sucked into something else. My goal is to crush through it before this one comes out.

I really want to go back and revisit Red Dead Redemption, but I worry about open world fatigue before the new one comes out.

Hype re-engaged.

Yeah, this will be good. I really hope it evolves the open world gameplay as it promises to do. It is difficult to play an open world game after Breath of the Wild.

It's going to be a long wait for the PC version for me. Bugger Rockstar and their shitty little double-dip strategy.

Gameplay video has me more pumped than ever. October 26th is so far off. Standouts so far (aside from the amazing vista shots) are the horse bonding, weapons detail and ramped up hand to hand combat (which has honestly been a bit weak from Rockstar in the past). Feels like the combat is taking a step forward into Naughty Dog territory (Uncharted, Last of Us). Just hoping the narrative is as solid and engrossing as Marston's story from RDR.

yeah i'm psyched on the horse bonding

I like that you can choose how to interact with NPCs. That's a big step for Rockstar.

Yeah, that's probably the thing I'm most excited about in that gameplay trailer.

I doubt there will be a new GTA until at least 2020 or 2021.

They've overmilked GTA5.

Gotta make that money. The Online is actually pretty fun. They've done a great job of adding new things every few months to keep people happy. That being said, the map/gameplay is getting dated and the engine chugs (even on on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro).

I've been outspoken about Rockstar's continuous milking of the GTAV online component, but now as I'm seeing more footage of RDR2 I'm kind of thankful they've dumped so much time and funding into development for RDR (allegedly in development for 8 years now). I just hope the story and (hopefully) future offerings/DLC are more single-player driven and not solely multiplayer like we've seen with GTAV.

Also wouldn't surprise me if a GTA 6 has been in the works for a while now given Rockstar's track record of radio silence through development. Agree it's in the realm of possible to see their next offering in 2020/2021, likely on the next gen platform.
