Almost through The Wind Waker on Dolphin, so I fired up Super Mario Galaxy 2 this morning, then forgot my desktop doesn't have bluetooth, so I won't be able to play with my actual Wiimotes right now.

Ordered a bluetooth adapter on Amazon, but the game plays remarkably well so far using the traditional w-a-s-d/mouse setup, with the scroll click being the shake maneuver.

Seems about right considering many emulators run better than the actually consoles they are emulating.
