Anyone else have one or know what they are? I'm not tech savvy, but my wife's friend is a freakin genius. I was talking a year ago or so how I wanted to get one of those NES Classic Editions that had like, 30 classic NES games. He was like- Why not just build one? Of course I laughed at him but then he told me he basically builds these little computer systems (almost the size of your phone) that he can upload old games onto, and you can use your ps3 (or whatever) controller with them because they're bluetooth capable. You can also SAVE games at any point, and then reload them again. It's pretty badass. Long story short, I have a little device that looks like this (see pic below), set up so I can play ALL of the games from Atari (both systems), Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, NeoGeo, Turbo Graphix 16, and even Commodore 64. "Newer" type games on more involved systems take up a lot of room, so I keep my game library focused on the classics. |

I want what Balki has. Everything 16 bit and older. A long time ago, I downloaded hundreds, if not thousands, of ROMs one by one in order to create a "gaming PC." Then the hard drive crashed. I never revisited that project. |

I'm POSITIVE you could find something like this for sale on e-bay or whatever. I'm in the position to have him "fix" it whenever there is a bug or hiccup or whatever, though, so it's super convenient. |

In theory, it's awesome. In practice, not so much. RetroPie is kinda buggy and you spend most of your time tweaking settings to get them to run correctly. |

I ended up using mine as a Linux torrent downloader connected to my NAS drive. |

I ran Dev's first campaign, and while we were ultimately unsuccessful, I was able to generate a lot of buzz. |

Then maybe we can discuss next steps. Do you have the keys to my secret lair? |

Now that most Chromebooks run Android apps, I'd argue that they are a better cheap option for emulation. |

Spent a big part of the day moving and setting up the family/game room today. Officially switched over to a Chromebook for emulation. I may pick up a Chromebox. Our nearest Walmart had the Logitech F301 on sale for $11.99. I picked up two. Between those and the two Buffalo Classics, we should be good to go on controllers. Mods or Balki, can we change the thread title to "Raspberry Pi/Emulation"? And, yes, our walls are filthy. |

I'm not sure it's pee. It may be a blood stain. |
