Good job, MD. I had to put it on easy cause I got too frustrated and didn't want to spend that much time figuring them all out.

Once you figured out their moves they weren't too bad. The final one just requires a lot of patience.

I've only fought one of the Valkyrie's so far and it was a real bitch. Used up all my rage and still was near death by the end. Need to level up quite a bit before I do that again...think I'm about half way through the story at this point. Told ya'll I'm slow. This game is fucking beautiful though and I crank the volume way up every time I play.

Side quest. They're behind the diamond shaped mirror doors.

I'm sure if you cut the size of the PS4 disc down to the size of a GameCube disc it'll play just fine. Science.

Side quest. They're behind the diamond shaped mirror doors.

I found 2 doors but I can't enter them yet. Will I eventually be able to backtrack to earlier portions of the game?

Yes. The entire map is accessible.

Man I really liked it and all, but..

Spoiler: show
that abrupt ending.. I was expecting an Odin or Thor battle up top there.. looking at it now, there's a lot left open n unfinished business that I imagine they are saving for a sequel/sequels.. but still.. I didn't even go into half of the realms..

It didn't feel abrupt to me... I think either some DLC or a sequel is inevitable with the angry mother goddess and Thor showing up at the end

At first I found it very abrupt/anticlimactic, but it serves the story well and I'm really happy with it now. The game is ultimately about the relationship between Krator and Atreus, not about conflict with some boss or big bad. Sure, there are fights in there, but there's no rush to get to them. The entire plot is them going to the mountain to spread the ashes. And that's what they do. The reveal at the end though, man oh man. Can't wait for the sequel.

Nope. I believe only five or the realms are playable and two are challenge room areas.

the jötunn Loki, who brings tragedy to the gods by engineering the death of the goddess Frigg's beautiful son Baldr; and numerous other deities.

Probably in the first few sections of the game. I think they scale up.

Today I encountered the Valkyrie in Helheim for the first time. I beat her on my 1st attempt without using a resurrection stone. I felt like such a stud. I beat 6 so far. Eir was the hardest thus far.
