So that's what the joke was about. I couldn't figure it out at first.

The Atlanta Falcons. The team that almost does everything so right, but ends up doing it so wrong at the last possible moment. I’m not in the mood to re-litigate th…
if you've seen some of the quarterback play thus far in the preseason, I think it's pretty safe to say at this point that Kaepernick is being black-balled

I think saying he's being black balled is an exaggeration. I'm sure there are teams that would take him, but don't see the media converging on their every move and asking Kaepernick questions every press conference as worth the trade off. If he was good, teams would bite the bullet. Unfortunately, he isn't a good football player anymore.

I don't think there's ANY question he is being black-balled. Kaepernick is a "good" QB. He had a shit O line and nobody to throw to and still managed 16 TDs and only 4 INTs last year with another ~500 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs. He was sacked 36 times in 11 games. He spent half the game running for his life most weeks.
And by all accounts his teammates love him and he's developed into a leader.
In my mind, not only should be on a roster, he should probably be a starter somewhere.
I guess my point is it might not be as malicious as it seems. Teams just don't want live Sportscenters being filmed from Kaepernicks locker room after practice every day.

I would believe this if several anonymous front office sources hadn't said they hoped he never plays again. A lot of people took great offense to his protest and obviously greatly dislike him, it's not just about the media.
I've said this before and got crap for it, but the NFL is far and away the most conservative of the major sports leagues and we're seeing that right now.
Cleveland Scene gathered a bunch of responses on the Browns facebook page in response to a group of guys kneeling during the anthem last night, many of them saying they were no longer fans.
THIS is what finally broke you? Not years of poor ownership, poor management, poor drafts, stupid injuries, and on and on?
