With six weeks to go there does not seem to be a lot of playoff drama developing except for seeding. In the AFC Pittsburgh/New England looks to be the top two with Jax the clear favorite in the South; their defense is top shelf with a not there yet offense. San Diego could well be the AFC West champ and are playing some good ball now. KC is a lot shakier than a month ago. Does anyone really care about who the two wild card spots will go to? The NFC is a bit more interesting because the top teams have a lot of each other on their schedules. Looking at the Eagles' schedule the biggest road bump looks to be at Seattle; they also play a road game against the Rams and Dallas could beat them in a "so what?" finale. If they trip up though Minnesota could sneak into the poll position. Their toughest games left are their next two, back to back road games with Atlanta and Carolina. New Orleans still has to host Carolina and a home and home with Atlanta after their visit with the Rams this week. The Rams are going to have to play to their record against the Saints and Eagles at home and on the road in Arizona, Tennessee, and Seattle. Besides New Orleans and Philadelphia the Rams have a road game with the Seahawks. Carolina visits Atlanta in what will likely be a meaningful finale. The Falcons have the toughest schedule but four of six at home. Seahawks may be on the outside looking in; they should beat SF this week but have the Eagles at home before going to Jacksonville in the next two weeks. I'm sure the network loved a Seattle/Dallas game on Christmas Eve when the schedules came but it be all for naught by then. Seattle is looking too banged up for the long haul but have a magician at QB and one of the best home field advantages in football.

The Browns have won four of their last 47 games. That is the same winning percentage as an NBA team going 7-75 or a MLB team going 14-148 over an entire season.

Don't sleep on the Chargers in the West. Remaining schedules:
Chargers: vs CLE, vs WAS, @KC, @NYJ, vs OAK
Chiefs: vs BUF, @NYJ, vs OAK, vs LAC, vs MIA, @DEN
LAC 1.5 games back.
Only 1 game back now.

Worth mentioning that the Raiders are just one game back as well. AFC West appears to be the new AFC South, i.e. the "Someone Has to Win This Division" Division.
