edge of my seat. both teams are so gassed no one's capable of building any kind of lead.

no idea why hayes, the PF, was on him. number 0 could've done something but froze.

yeah, that was strange.

they played well up until about the 50 second mark, then fell apart. dammnit, i really wanted a big ten team in the final four.

Have to think everyone here except darth_vedder and now 4/5 has to have a little appreciation for what the Gamecocks are doing. Beating Duke and Baylor also gets them extra votes.

Oh I have a little bit of appreciation. As much as I hate the dirt peckers, It's cool to see a 7 seed make it to the final 4. It's also good for the state of SC, so there is that.

If anything, it makes me mad at Clemson that they didn't fire their coach. 7 years and 1 NCAA appearance, and that was his first year with another coach's players. When they lost in the first round of the NIT to Oakland, at home and after blowing a 20 point lead in the 2nd half, the coach lost me for good. A change is needed.

Consider how improbable and fantastic it would be for the state of South Carolina, as sparsely populated as it is to manage to hold championships in both of the most popular collegiate men's sports at one time and at different schools. Would be pretty incredible. They don't even have the recruiting base that Florida, Texas, California or even Georgia have. I guess Greenville and Spartanburg continue to grow, Charleston of course, but there 's so many fewer high school players than in other areas.

(BTW) Mark Fox should have been fired at Georgia too, and they need to blow that entire basketball operation up as badly as they've failed.

I just hope Oregon loses. I know I should expect to see a lot of Oregon stuff considering where I live but so many of the fans are so insufferable.

I know, who would have thought the biggest college basketball story of the season would a UConn women's loss?
