Watching the second season on Netflix now. Good stuff.

Guenther Steiner is a great character, almost seems like fiction.

Very sad when they covered the death of Hubert.

F1 in talks to bring a race to Miami. That would be awesome

Yeah good stuff.

Think I'll be following Magnussen this year for Haas instead of Grosjean.

Can’t you follow both? Or do you watch races from the cockpit of one driver? (I know it’s possible, but I’ve never considered trying it.)

I can, but I generally pull for one driver. I've been wanting Haas to do well in F1, but they seem to think Grosjean is their #1, but he seems to always have disappointing dropouts and issues during races. Magnussen seems a little more consistent, so I'm hoping he can have a good year.

Magnussen is certainly a more consistent driver. Grosjean is also the biggest crybaby in the field, while Magnussen is just a badass.

The Netflix-series that follow the F1 season also has a really cool episode on the Haas-team.

Another reason to follow Magnussen!

I agree.

Really look forward to the season now. Just a few days left until Australia.

Some idiot with Red Bull wanted all the drivers to get together and contract coronavirus so they could move on with the season. The idea didn't go over well.

Vettel leaving Ferrari after this season, if it happens. Will be interesting to see who goes after him.

He might retire. If not, Renault or McLaren seem most likely.

I don't think he'll retire, but yeah another big name will get him

Sainz has signed for Ferrari, and Ricciardo for McLaren. Will Vettel sign for Renault?

Post subject:  Re: Anyone else here watch F1 racing?

That was a fantastic weekend of F1. Most worrying is the total dominance of Mercedes. It was ridiculous in qualifying. Was worried the race would be poor, and even thought so after a few rounds. But then it turned into a something else, and only 11 cars made it to the end.

New racing weekend at the same track coming up.

Looks like Alonso is going to return for Renault next season.
