I wonder if AlphaTauri are going to give de Vries the boot mid-season. He's having an absolute howler.

he has potential though. and placed well in reserve last year. their car prob sucks ass

if anything Tsunoda should get the boot for wrecking the car 1500 times

but then they would lose the japanese market so...

Sainz has become Mr. predictably 5th place

Before last weekend Tsunoda had been performing well above the car, though. You're so harsh on Yuki-san!

Sainz hasn't been driving overly well, but 5th is hardly anything to sneeze at.

indeed
and
he's got a hot bod and sister too

and if folks in front of him crash, he might just get a podium sometime this year

at this point the best we can hope for is Checo and Max duking it out like civil war foes

In other news: the whole Max vs. Russell thing is kinda weird. I think Russell was in the wrong, but for Max to dish out advice like "we must always leave space" is a little rich.

I dunno, I'm torn...

Fuck yeah. Call me a cynic, but I'm just waiting for RB to pull out some egregious favouritism to ruin that duel.

not cynical

rational

horner very clearly being diplomatic but favoring max

checo punching above his weight

he is just the sidekick

maybe they throw ricciardo in for 1 race in place of checo just to remind him he is 'the help'

it's a tight track, Max went for it and took the risk but Russell was not exactly reckless. Max is just so used to having easy wins now whenever he has to muscle up with someone in steerage for 2 minutes he gets mega pissy

maybe some of Checo's mayan friends will come shank Max's tires one night

Too bad, q3 ruined by a red flag. Pole for Perez.

wow what an interesting start order

thank god LeClerc is OK he was going fast af and did that 360

hate to see people make mistakes but really cool to see so much variability in the start order

checo vs. alonso should be an interesting battle

maybe Sainz can benefit somehow from those two going at it

Magnussen from out of nowhere crushing quali and holding onto 4th

Gasly finally in the mix up top

and Verstappen, LeClerc, and Hamilton all gonna be battling their way back up from the back

should be entertaining

happy for Checo

he really is gonna give Max a run for his money this year

amazing

Max wins from 9th. It's getting a little repetitive, but that initial stint he put in on the hard tyres was impressive.

K Mag's battle with LeClerc was pretty sick. I love that the Haas refused to lie down.

Sainz in 5th again. NumbersUP called it.

Another Alonso podium. Yaaas.
