Ok, even though we're not starting until WhatIf loads the 2015 stats (which should be a few days after the regular season ends), I figure I'll start this thread now since there's a healthy amount of discussion going on about it in various other threads.
Here are the links to the previous tournaments for reference...
-Participants will pick the franchise they'd like to use. Once you pick your franchise, you can use any season that any player had playing for that franchise. Players who played for multiple franchises can be on multiple teams, but you can't use a season they had for another franchise (ex. Carlton Fisk can be on both the White Sox and Red Sox, but the White Sox can't use his 1975 season and the Red Sox can't use his 1983 season).
-You need twenty-five players to field a complete team.
-There will be no interleague play. Everyone plays everyone else in their league eight times, for a fifty-six game season. First place teams will get a bye into the LCS, while the second and third place teams will play a best-of-three series for the second spot. The LCS and World Series will both be best-of-seven.
-A pitcher needs THREE games worth of rest between starts. You will have the option to start a pitcher on two games' rest four times during the regular season. A pitcher cannot start on two games' rest in consecutive starts (he needs the full three games before he starts again). You have the option to start a pitcher on two games' rest twice in the postseason.
-All pitching staffs are reset to full rest at the All-Star Break, the end of the season, and the start of each round of the playoffs.
AMERICAN LEAGUE Athletics 35-19** Red Sox 34-20* White Sox 33-21* Tigers 32-22* Blue Jays 28-26 Twins 27-27 Orioles 25-29 Mariners 24-30 Rays 20-34 Brewers 14-40

chud and numbers will get first dibs at a second team if we need a few more. I know beyond them, phil and #BRL both expressed interest in second teams, so odds are you won't even have to run a second one if you don't want to.
