The top fives that have been posted are hard to argue with. I'll say Jamaal Charles actually has a chance to be top 5 before it's all said and done. He's averaged almost 6 ypc. in this era and is one of the better receiving RBs that have existed.
Totally agree with this. He is a home run threat every time he touches the ball.

I also find it weird that LT gets no love here, but I know a lot of people hold his playoff performances against him.
I think LT is a clear 6-10.
I would agree with that for sure. Played on some awful teams early in his career.

I thought Reggie Bush was going to be better than he ended up being.
Same here. I thought he would be kinda what like Charles has become. Bush is one of the best I have ever seen on the college level.

Lawrence Phillips killed a guy.
It's true.
LP could have been the next Eric Dickerson if he was anywhere close to a respectable human being.

I remember reading that Barry could dunk a basketball without getting a running start. Dude's 5'8".
Is it weird I grew up having a man crush on his legs? Oh well.

We obviously need a whatif football tournament to settle this debate.
I'm down. A fun story line could be if Skitch and I could coexist with a Lions team.

Keith Woodside is the right answer.
Fixed it for you.

I loved Riggins. He just shouldn't be in this conversation.
24 rushing TDs in 1983.
Agree, I'd say Sweetness or Barry Sanders. But...If I'm making my own fantasy football team, I just very well may take the Hogs + the Diesel, and put them up against any other super fantasy best of team.
