The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
This is the thread where ill post all my pictures from my hiking adventures. You can do the same. Right here in this thread. Maybe even tell you a little bit about the hike as well!
Uneva Peak. Just under 7 miles. Beginning elevation of about 10,500 and topping out around 12,600'.
It starts at the top of Vail Pass which is nice to start up so high (quicker to the peak views) but also right along the interstate so the first .5 mile is loud. Gentle then steep. Great views. Fuck the western fires and haze.
well im tired now too. Sun/altitude baked too maybe
that’s the worst…screwed me up for a few days last week
I hope you get a good nights sleep
i fell asleep on the couch after work so i probably won’t
i hope you hike well this weekend
No hiking this weekend. I'm off to San Diego for a week!
nice, i was there for work a few weeks ago…great city
Any restaurant suggestions?
I love San Diego. Was there last november. Heading back to meet up with my sisters family
i can't remember the name, but we went to a really good mexican place in old town..unfortunately we were only there a short amount of time, but the gaslamp district has a ton of places
We’re gearing up for a five day pack packing trip in September. Last weekend we did a hard 17km hike with lots of elevation and some tricky terrain. Yesterday was an easy 14km Ike in the rain. Today was a 9km urban hike with a 30lb pack.

Not to worry, no flights involved this trip. We will however be checking into Victoria’s swankiest hotel straight from the trail. I will enjoy the walk through the lobby and laugh at the dirty looks.

Did 22km (~13.6 miles) hike yesterday which took a bit over 4 and a half hours. The weather was nice ~20 celcius and a light rain at the end. I was almost hit by a thunder storm but got back to the car before it was directly above. Few shots I took:
