This guy explains quite a bit. Not a big deal to fly home, or to watch McGruber on the fight home. Also mentions how the concussion on Thursday very well could have happened without a concussion occurring the previous Sunday, but because of how it looks, people immediately assume that's the case.

Really don't know what to say. Hard to expect more from such an injury decimated squad. But Jets do deserve credit for that performance. I wonder if we just started this year's marathon to fast.

I was afraid the defense was very overrated and it is. Add in the injuries to Howard and Jones and it's been a total disaster. Idk anything about sprint or marathon, they've hit a rough patch right when the schedule was supposed to get friendly, hopefully they learn how to tackle and Boyer stops insisting on putting his CBs on an island, at least while they're starting rookies and journeymen.

The defensive scheme revolves around Howard and Jones locking up their men one-on-one. Now they're trying a plan B that isn't working very well. It's not a disaster, but it's not good.

I think both things are true: they were overrated entering the season and playing without your top two CBs is a big deal and makes any defense worse. Personally, I think Miami's defense the last two years was far too big play dependent. They were good at generating those big plays at what I thought was an unsustainable rate so I expected regression while it seemed like most fans felt that side of the ball was already good to great. I'm also tired of the zero blitzes, especially when we're trotting people like Igbonogne who can't play to save his life. But whatever, maybe they'll get healthier.

Tua's cleared concussion protocols and expected to play next week vs. Pittsburgh.

I don’t understand how Igbenogine or Jason sanders are still on this team. Cut both at halftime. Go kickerless. Bridgewater is bad at football and Waddle needs to learn to catch.

Waddle hasn’t done anything wrong. Those were poor throws. Igbonoghene is actually playing well. Howard gave up those plays. Our oline is our biggest issue right now.

Igbonoghene played the best he ever has in the second half. He gave up a bad PI in the first half leading to points that I was referring to. X gave up more big plays, continues to be disappointing. The defense as a whole was actually pretty good, much better than 24 points would indicate. Good tackling, pressure without always blitzing, definitely looked better. Bridgewater was mostly terrible. Hill is amazing. Waddle with two brutal plays. I like how angry he was after the fumble at least but he seems to have a drop every game, wish he could get better with that, otherwise he's so dynamic.
I doubt anything could make Dolphins fans appreciate Tua as much as the QB play since he went out.

Yeah, but staying healthy is an important skill too and he sucks at that
You could say that about basically the entire team, though.
