loosen your grip and don't be so tight in your arms and shoulders. you'll knock off 2 strokes and get to 145.
I played a ton a golf this past weekend when I visited my parents. Shot a 39 and a 37 on two par 36 nines. The second one tied my dad, who I've never tied or beaten him on a nine. It was glorious.
Been averaging rounds in the mid-40s lately, so it was a nice surprise to put it all together for a weekend.

What town?
not O'Fallon, but near there...St. Mary's or St. Charles sound right?

somehow i was 6 over through the first 6 holes, no thanks to my tee shots...they were god awful, but scrambling saved me...i shot a 49 on the front nine with three out balls out of bounds or in water...it's a very easy course, but i'll take it...the back nine was more of a mixed bag with a few blow up holes

i kept topping them - mostly with a regular hybrid and Adams 4-hybrid....can’t keep my head down i guess...hardly any slices though
i was pushing my short irons and wedges a bit left and right, but was making good contact pretty consistently
