The doctors are speculating that he may have already had stress fractures earlier from all the basketball he's played.
For me, I think this is worse for Theismann because I had the displeasure of actually seeing this live. Maybe if I was old enough to watch Theismann live, I would disagree.

Big Ten.... stronger than advertised or weaker than advertised? Seems like alot of 10-25 in the polls teams. Quite a few teams that could make some noise in the tournament.
Michigan St., with Payne, seems like the big legit contender to me. Teams have found the holes in Wisconsin's game, but they'll get it together. OSU got their stroke back against Illinois. As for the team I pull for...Illinois needs to get it together. Rice needs to get back to form. Abrams isn't a point guard. I'd like to see them embrace the young guys a little more. Egwu is a force one minute and the fumbling buffoon the next 15.
