The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

The game management by the Saints before that last Seahawks TD was horrendous. --Delay of game --Burned timeout to avoid another delay of game --Kicking a FG in the wind with an old kicker you just added to your team --Wasting your last timeout on a challenge that your replay booth should have nixed.

yeah I don't know what they were doing. All in all it was the worst possible conditions for the Saints and they didn't rise above it. Still, I feel pretty good about the future. The defense performed well. Maybe next year they won't choke away home field advantage.
This should have been expected for quite some time. They were in real bad cap shape, and I would expect Brees, Evans, and Grubbs to get restructured if they are serious about tagging Graham. An additional dark horse cut might be Brodrick Bunkley.
Darren Sproles to be released by New Orleans Saints
This is a pure cap casualty, and a bad move by the Saints. They had other ways to make room. Like I said, I'd love for the Broncos to sign him. Maybe the Saints can bring Trindon Holliday back home?

Jairus Byrd agrees to deal with Saints
The three-time Pro Bowl safety agrees to a six-year contract. Byrd will be paired with Kenny Vaccaro in the Saints' secondary
I have no idea how they're going to fit them in their cap, especially since they didn't cut Sproles after all. That team is in danger of entering a Cowboys death spiral if they aren't careful.

Holy shit. Seriously, someone else had to have been cut or restructured in order for the Saints to fit this monster deal in. So happy the Broncos got TJ Ward for less than half of that!

I hope they don't overpay for Graham. He's a beast, but The Saints have been pretty good finding great players in the draft and free agency the last few years.
NFL is looking into whether Saints illegally stashed LB Todd Davis in their training facility after they released him at a time the Broncos were claiming him on waivers, per sources. Saints waived Davis last week, planned to sign him back to their practice squad, so they kept him in team meetings at their training facility on Thursday. The Broncos claimed Davis the same day and wanted to bring him to Denver on Friday for practice but could not get hold of him because he was in meetings in New Orleans, according to a source. Davis met the Broncos in St. Louis on Saturday, but not before the NFL had begun looking into the Saints' possible roster shenanigans. The NFL wants to determine what the facts, but it's possible New Orleans will be facing a stiff fine. A Saints official said this morning he was unaware of any impropriety.
