all of this in a season where Brady was suspended for the first four games of the season, and his mother is very ill. talk about mental toughness.

I've heard some pretty plausible theories about the Pats maybe cutting ties with Gronk, but I think at this point they've got to hang onto him in case Brady suddenly dries up--he'd be a nice safety blanket for a young QB, even with how injury prone he is.

not sure they'll cut ties, but they need to bring in a viable alternative next year. i don't know how much more football gronk's body can take.
