The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Considering how much he's likely going to ask for in contract negotiations, B.J. Raji is gonna have to have the game of his life on Sunday for me to not think that they'd be better off letting him walk. Am I the only one who feels this way right now?

Tough call. It's not easy to find athletic guys that can be consistently good at that position is it? He's the anchor I that D. Granted it's not A very capable D right now, but....
Yeah, but it's hard not to think he has regressed significantly since 2010. I mean, I get that he's getting more attention now and he's surrounded by less talent on the line than he was in 2009 and 2010, but he hasn't made a big play since the NFC Championship game, has he? I know numbers can be very misleading, but some of his are damning to an extent, aren't they?

No sacks since 2011 isn't the sign of a guy who's gonna end up getting as big of a payday as he is. He's a nice piece, but Clay Matthews he is not.
The guy's a nose tackle, he's not usually going to have notable stats or many plays on highlight reels. Those 2010 numbers are astronomical for that position. I'm not sure if he has regressed or not, but you're probably going to really need to study the tape to figure that out.

But I think that's kind of the issue. I think he's a decent nose tackle who people overrate at this point because they think he's still capable of recreating what he did in 2010, which I don't think he is. I don't think he's gonna be worth what he ends up getting, and I'm starting to think I'd rather see another team risk that he is rather than watch the Packers take that chance.

Nose tackle is one of the most difficult positions to fill in the NFL. Even if Raji is overrated I'm not sure if the Packers could find an adequate replacement elsewhere.
