potential ridiculous SNOW GAME in green bay sunday

Let's hope so. Roll Eddie, Roll...

If it isn't a ridiculous snow game, let's hope McCarthy has learned his lesson from the past two weeks and opens up the passing game in the first half a bit, instead of waiting until the second half like he did against Atlanta and Dallas.

Just realize that Pittsburgh's defense is a wee bit better than Atlanta's and Dallas's.

Only a wee bit better, though. Atlanta is the worst of the three, giving up 27.7 points per game. Pittsburgh is still giving up 23.7. This isn't a robust Super Bowl-era Steelers defense that you're lucky to put up more than two touchdowns against. A Ryan Tannehill-led Miami team just hung 34 on them two weeks ago.

I was using the Steelers more of a suggestion of how bad Atlanta's and Dallas's defenses are as opposed to how much better the Steelers' defense is.

Either way, the Packers should be able to score plenty on them.

I can't believe Rodgers will be missing his 7th straight, and yet there is still hope for this team. What a shitty division.

Well the Bears were without their QB and more than 1/2 their def starters and 3 pro-bowlers. But yeah Det and Minn are shit.

I think it says more about the quality of opponents they've faced, rather than how other North teams have played...?

I'm with you Harry. This will effectively be the eighth game the most dominant player this division has seen since its inception (don't kid yourself otherwise, Rodgers is 26-6 against the division in games he's played more than half of, and four of those losses were by three or less points) , and somehow they still control their own destiny.

all of whom are a lot easier to replace than aaron rodgers. the packers have also been playing without bulaga, finley, and cobb most of the year, and plenty of key defensive players have missed substantial time.

My point was that MN and DET are horrible and the Bears ravaged by injuries, not to get in to an injury pissing match.

sure sounded like you were making excuses for the bears. while valid, just wanted to remind you that they're not the only ones depleted.

Wow, that was close! Great game. Nelson was wide open on that final play.
