The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The second half of the show was really good, the first half not so much. Probably All In was a better show, but I could appreciate this as the first AEW show, with some good surprises, a big crowd, some big matches.

I felt like they hit all the right chords for the “lapsed fan.” Felt like a show out of the late 90s in a modern way. Dustin/Cody was the match of the night for me, but I loved that Japanese women’s match they did. That felt to me like luchadors in WCW or the Japanese guys in ECW back in the glory days.

That being said, they have some things to work on. The battle royal was a clunky mess and the camera work wasn’t great, they missed getting the right shot a bunch of times. That will get better I’m sure once they go to weekly tv and get the hang of things. The only real negatives that worry me are 1) Brandi thinks she’s Stephanie McMahon and is inserting herself into things in a way that is super offputting. 2) Alex Marvez is HORRIBLE, I think the role they are going for with him can work but he is not the guy to fill it.

I think JR and Excalibur have a little bit of chemistry going off last night, and that Excalibur can carry JR to a place where he is good enough but Marvez is a total fly in the ointment.
I gave up on my network subscription a month ago and decided I'm not going back until Vince is dead or is no longer the creative lead of the company...so, when he's dead.

The really interesting thing about the Mox podcast is NO ONE in WWE is disputing it. You aren’t seeing people dispute it to curry favor like has always happened when people have done interviews like this in the past. Morale in that locker room must be at an all time low.
