There are rumors on twitter(take it for what is worth) that HHH and Steph have been separated for over a year, which adds another layer of craziness to everything thats going on right now.

RIP
The Briscoes were one of the greatest tag teams to never compete in the WWE. I have a lot of great memories of seeing them perform at ROH live shows back in the day.

The whole Briscoe ban always seemed bizarre to me even before Jay passed. Kind of surprising that WBD execs would even know who Jay Briscoe is let alone his history, and strange that this was the one guy they played this card with when they could have for a number of other AEW talents that have come in.
Scorpio Sky had a very similar past with hateful comments and making an effort to show growth and change, he was welcomed and one of the first guys to get a push. Punk, Cabana etc have some brutal stuff out there in old shoot videos from the early aughts, not a problem for WBD to build the company around Punk for a year. This network airs Harry Potter films daily and airs Dana Whites WIFESLAP immediately after Dynamite. Why they chose to drop the hammer on only Jay Briscoe is really perplexing.

Everyone who would know says that Briscoe made a genuine honest effort to atone for those comments and change, this includes several LGBTQ people. The fact that he did it out of the public eye(as to not look disingenuous) apparently ended up working against him as few people were aware.
Think he said said it had something to do with religion. I can't remember the exact quote. No excuse for it, but a lifelong ban, especially with what so many others have gotten away with, didn't seem right. Either way it's in the past now.
Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal did a great job on Dynamite last night.
