I feel bad for the Big Ten defenders after this weekend.
I stand by this statement for that weekend. Big wins by Ohio State and Michigan State yesterday. One good week does not change the football landscape but it is a step in the right direction.

I think we very well may look back at this past week as an inflection point in college football when the other conferences showed they're not as far away (speed and talent wise) from the SEC as others perceived. It's cyclical. It's happened with the Pac-10, Big 10, and Big 8 all at one point.

Agreed.

Can't believe FSU lost the way they did, wow! Also, so glad the entire SEC West lost. No offense to you guys who like those teams, but for the rest of us, we're fucking sick and tired about hearing how elite the SEC is, and how far behind the other conferences are.

I agree with this. The SEC beats up on each other like no other conference and that can hurt when whittling down the final four teams for the playoff. I'm looking forward to an 8-team playoff.
Urban earned his money this year, and they got a little lucky because they are Ohio State and not TCU.
Two best teams playing right now are in the championship. I liked how it worked this year more but there are still way too many meaningless bowl games.

The regular season is good, the postseason sucks
I'm not sure Ohio State is better than TCU. Agreed they got lucky because they have a better name. Not taking anything away from Ohio State I just think TCU is a better team.

Alabama and FSU losing was a wonderful introduction for the playoff system.
