I kind of feel like the one country doing something about climate change while every other country goes about their business polluting away. Here there are way too many riders ignoring the signs to stay off the trails because of the wet conditions.

The only thing I can say in my defence is I try to volunteer at least one day a year to work on trails.

Based on the same frame geometry is used for both 29” and 27.5”, I’d opt to size on the small size if your height straddles two sizes on the 27.5”. I’d stay away from 29” wheels unless you’ve mountain biked previously. They are a different beast than 27.5” rides. Faster but takes a lot more physicality to get it to be near as mobile as a 27.5”.

Thank you. I will mostly be riding on roads, but I like the versatility of having a mountain bike. I'm not especially experienced at actual mountain biking.
