I know nobody cares about this but me, but Frank De Boer has been sacked (or mutual parting of ways) along with the entire coaching staff at Atlanta United. (yes It's only MLS, yes MLS is mostly terrible)

It's true that due to the MLS salary cap and losing talents elsewhere hurt the team, but everything that he tried to do here really did not work at all.

So, I'm excited for the fresh start. After last week, I mean you can't have a 4 month layoff and play like that.

I guess similar to the exit at Crystal Palace.

Atlanta sucks so hard without Martinez. It's really shocking. I'm keeping an eye on the Bello kid and Miles Robinson, but they seem really stale as a group right now. Hyndman is another guy that I was hoping would take off but hasn't yet.

The thing is it’s not just Martinez, it’s No Almiron, no Nagbe, No Gressel etc. De Boer coaches like everyone is Ajax. This was a wide open offense and he just instantly killed it, the team last year mutinied, they let prett much anyone go that complained.

Brooks Lennon for Gressel? Nope, probably never. Adam Jahn for Martinez? Brek Shea? No.

They went from having all kinds of talent and a good scheme to having two South American stars that can’t finish a few bad national teamers, and an awful, boring scheme the team Obviously hated.

I mean it’s only MLS, but it was entertaining for a while.

Back to watching Pulisic.

When we look back at 2020, the one good thing to happen will have been USMNT becoming a problem in international football.

Just in the last calendar year they have established very young players at Ajax, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, BVB, Juventus, Man City, RB Liepzig. Lille. And just today Konrad Delafuente made his senior team debut for Barca.

The "weak links" in the 11 are starters at Wolfsburg, Bremen and Fulham. Top flight football in top five leagues.

The USMNT captain was given the number 10 shirt at Chelsea.

Can't wait to smash Mexico for the next decade or so.

Weston McKinnie started the opener for Juventus. Made quick decisions and got stuck in a few times in the midfield which is what Pirlo wants to see I'm sure. He's not going to be a week in week out starter but he looked the part.

We ride

Are calves obscene too now in the world of verb?

Villa are looking really strong all over the park. McGinn and Luiz are immense.
