The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
January camp matches are always like that but yeah, they suck. Some observations:
I was troubled that Arena played Lazy Antiscore as a lone forward. He is terrible as a lone forward.
Nagbe looked pretty good. Got fouled all game. Should have scored.
Bradley sat deep. Looks totally done on the international level but since you know he is going to continue to get called in, start and captain the team, at least it seems Bruce wants him as a 6.
Klejstan is too slow. He's had 50 caps and is 32. He's not going to magically become the answer because he has dominated MLS for the last two seasons. Pulisic should play that spot, especially if it looks like Nagbe can play left midfield.
Garza, Zusi are not going to be able to cut it as outside backs.

Yep. You nailed it. As soon as I saw Bradley playing as the holding midfielder I knew the US was about to put up a average game. The US needs to add a lot of new blood. Like at every position basically. Altidore as the lone striker is a joke.

Nice! You know at the beginning of the season I was trying to decide if I wanted to root for Palace or the Spurs....I choose Palace....I'm really bad at this.
It really makes me nervous when I keep hearing key players on the usmnt say 'we have always found a way with our backs against the wall' It's like they are trying to convince themselves. With key players out tonight a draw or worse would not surprise me.

The same thing happened in Columbus. 'the usmnt always beats Mexico in Columbus. Dos a cero'. I was there in 13 and 16 and could tell from the opening whistle things were going to be different and the team didn't have it in November. You start leaning on history and past achievements and you eventually fail.
