A surfing thread deserves better than a sub-forum. |

where you paddling in CO? Rivers? lakes? I paddle a lot in the summer when I go out to BC. Just at the lake from the beach but I'd like to take it up the river more. Maybe I'll get my BIL to drop me at the river mouth from the boat this summer for a good exploring trip. |

doug rr wrote: I know nothing about those inflatable boards..I'm sure they're fine in lakes Local shop says the infaltables are great for the river. They take a beating and if you puncture it, it is easy to repair, unlike a hardboard. I just need to find something in my price range on a 6" thick board. http://campoutforthecause.org/ Heading there for the weekend and plan on doing a lot of SUP (sans yoga sup) But yea, Do some paddling on all the rivers here. Eagle River, Colorado River, Upper Colorado River, Sweetwater.... |

I SUP'd on the Union reservoir last summer. It gets a little choppy out there with the wind. |

Might have to throw the wetsuit on early next week, some good waves in the forecast. |

I've been watching some surfing competition at Hawaii's pipeline. I like surfing. I go every time we're in CA, but there's no part of me that would want to ride waves that size. |

Come on over Says it's only 2.5 hours away, which isn't so bad. Is there somewhere we could meet for a drink in between I wonder? Anyway, I'm totally down provided that I can engineer a respite from the in-laws. |
