Not sure why the Lakers have Rondo if LeBron is going to bring it up 75% of the time. My boy still managed 11 assists despite this.

That LeBron-Dame-LeBron dunk sequence was fantastic.

Yeah that was wild. Since I lack the ability to truly enjoy anything I found myself wondering how the defense could possibly be so bad. The Bulls Sixers game was 41-38 after the first quarter, and that's with two guys on the floor who refuse to shoot jump shots.

Yeah Booker really put on a show last night. I have a friend who makes fun of how pointless the regular season is. Meanwhile, he is obsessed with SEC football where half the games are against D3 cupcakes. It makes no sense.

I live in the south. The SEC is the worst thing about college football. From the fans to the fanfare to the schools. Fuck the SEC and every school in it. Sorry if any of you are SEC graduates.

What if I graduated from a Big 12 school that's now SEC?

yeah Missouri should be ok. I think your fans are fine. Don't let the bad rub off on you guys, though

My SEC fanboi friend is a Mizzou alum living in Louisville and he acts like he's Clark Gable the southern gentleman.

how close are you guys?

He was in my wedding

if i ever get married you’ll probably have to be my best man

I'll do it but I'm not making a speech or planning a bachelor party.

i’m good with that

When Lilliard got his dunk my immediate thought was "It'd be awesome if LeBron answers that immediately." Then as soon as he did, my reaction was, "Do these guys think this is an All-Star Game?"

There wasn't even a pretense of playing defense.

After the commercial break we’ll back with our popular segment, Ask Verb!” and get Verb’s opinion on today’s hot button issue: can WNBA players “hang” with players in the G League??? Find out next.

Absolutely no chance in hell. I don't even think it even matters what the definition of hang is. Who suggested this? Beadle?

It was Chiney Ogwumike on Twitter, who by the context appears to be a WNBA player.

"But lowkey the real question here is: with this being more than the WNBA max salary, would women be allowed to hoop in the GLeague? because I think some us could hang. Asking for a friend."

Athleticism matters. If Jimmer can't hang then neither can ....Diana turasi? Is that a player?

The Jazz have now hung an 81 point first half on the greatest team of all time. Fucking millennials.

There were several extremely high scores tonight. The damn Grizzlies put up 131. Defense is non existent in today’s game.

Or it could also have something to do with 3s being shot at an insane rate.

Lowe and Nichols fucked each other to climax listening to Chauncey Billups tell a story about how KG senselessly beat Wally Szcerbiak while he was on the trainers table after practice. Then Nichols and Lowe continued to pleasure themselves talking about how wonderful Jimmy Butler's child tantrum has been. And we wonder why the league is full of children.

Continuing to listen...Nichols clearly has a thing for Butler.

Tiny sample size so far obviously, but pace is up significantly over last year, 8 more shots have been taken per game, more 3’s, and more FT’s. There’s your scoring increase. FG% is actually slightly down so far, though that’s probably ALL the Miami Heat’s fault.

We need more adults like you around.

Also, I don't think we listened to the same podcast.
