I will say the GSW youngsters having success is a double edged sword. The Celts had some injured vets, the kids stepped up, the vets came back, the youngsters balked at the lesser playing time and the team imploded. That said our vets were Kyrie, Hayward and Horford not Steph, Klay and Draymond. I acknowledge the difference. Still could go bad I suppose.

Bigger embarrassment to the game:

LeBron’s post-bubble Lakers or Jordan’s Wizards?

I'd say Kerr is likely to handle the situation better than Stevens.

I’d be pissed, too, if I was playing well and then they started giving my minutes to Boreford.

Michael Porter Jr. out for an indefinite amount of time for back surgery. Who could have seen that coming?

I'll watch it. Adrian Brody for Pat Riley is an interesting choice.

I really like them. Especially the shiny, old timey shorts.

It was nice they showed him hugging his parents, Ray Allen … Reggie Miller was there, his college coach … and no sign of his annoying wife. Perfect.

Who knew the three point record was such a big deal? What a freak out! What did Ray get a smattering of applause when he got the record? They stop the game now…hugs…tears….Gatorade baths….lol millennials.

Of course it was overblown. What isn't these days? Something has to keep that hype train rolling during the slow sports weeks.

I think it a BIG deal.

Much moreso than the touchdown pass record. TD’s are just another pass. Sometimes coverage is blown and a guy is wide open down the field. Sometimes it’s a little dump off and the RB does all the work running 75 yards to score. Sometimes it’s a shovel pass that might as well be a handoff. That the pass results in a score is just kinda … there.

3 pointers on the other hand are WORTH MORE POINTS than other shots. Right there it’s a big deal. With Curry, you literally have to guard the guy at half court. That’s a fundamental game changer. Plus, by the time he hangs it up his record will be more untouchable than that guy who threw two consecutive no-hitters.

Whoever is playing now will hold the three point record because it wasn't as valued for most of the entire history of the game. Whoever is the leader 25 years from now it'll be a big deal maybe but Curry is taking 13 threes a game this year Larry Bird took less than 2. It's just kind of odd to me how much Curry carried on after winning it. Yeah everyone else can freak out but crying over the three point record? I can't imagine what will happen when some breaks the free throw record they'll probably throw up and shit their pants.

Curry should be celebrated for being the greatest shooter of all time and how he changed the game (probably for the worst but whatever) is epic but the three point record is a joke. Larry took 2, Reggie took 5, Ray took 6 and now Curry is taking 13. The volume is so much higher its basically a new stat. Don't cry over a regular season volume stat Steph. Be better.

I'm not really sure it is our place to judge or to tell someone how they should act. He's poured thousands of hours of his life into being the absolute best at something and then did it.

I'm starting to think you just hate basketball, bada.
