The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
A three on one fast break and Terry actually tries to defend and its a big deal that a guy twice his size dunked on him? I guess he should have given up and got out of the way so he wouldn't get embarrassed like 90% of guys do nowadays. And then Lebron stares him down. Big bad baller. Someone needs to tell him you only do that when you dunk on someone bigger than you.
you do realize terry was talking shit all week right?

So, the Nuggets are riding a nice 13 game winning streak of their own. They could potentially win their way into the 3 spot in the west. They've beaten a number of very good teams during the stretch as well.
I'd love to see a 2nd round Nuggets-Thunder matchup.
There's no way the Heat will break the record, or probably even seriously threaten it. That said, I really hope it's still going through Friday night since I'm going to that game. 33 games is an insane win streak. The fact it's 50% longer than the previous 2nd longest is a testament to what an accomplishment it was. For now, I'm just glad that this streak makes games in February and March feel like they matter a little bit.

Yeah, it's something to talk about amongst all the March Madness hoopla. I'm hoping for that matchup too.
Watching that game last night I was just waiting for the inevitable comeback to begin. That's what happens when you have only one legit healthy point guard on your team. (And you're playing the best team in the world.)

I've been there before. It's a pretty awful feeling.
8:37 to go from down 27 to a tie game.

Once Livingston had to come out and Gibson was sent in the disaster struck. Don't know why Byron stuck with Walton so long when Zeller was having one of his better games of the season.

JT is always talking. He talked shit when they played in the finals a Lebron came up all time small. I guess he got his revenge in this regular season game but dunking on someone smaller than you is no big deal. Dunk on a 7 footer and you can preen all you want.
hey Lebron, cry a little more why don't you. yea, like Hinrich reeally tackled you to the floor. Van Gundy was right, had he not thrown his arms around you, it would have been an offensive foul because of you falling into him out of control.
yea, that's really all i've got. i thought it was hilarious to hear Bron Bron whine after the game.
if JR Smith continues to play like this, haha, the Knicks will beat the streak all the way into next season.
oh, and Amare is one of my favorite Knicks of all time but i realize more now it is him that slows this team down and kills any flow...even coming off the bench.
oh, and Amare is one of my favorite Knicks of all time
Why? For those first 6 weeks two seasons ago?

lolz. you so silly.
two seasons ago he played about 80 games.
I just remember him being really, really good for like the first two months of that season and then fading. Especially once 'Melo got there.

Yeah, I don't really get the Stoudamire love either, and I am a huge fan of the Knicks. He had a great half of a season and declared that New York would be a basketball town again on the way into his absurd max contract that was not insured. Wonderful. Yes, this team is pretty good right now, but they are not really in a position right now, given their age and consistency issues, to truly compete for a title. My guess is they are the team that is ripe for being upset in the first round, especially if they play an experienced team like Boston. I'd like to think they are conference finals material, but I don't really believe they can beat the Pacers, who would probably give the Heat the best fight in a playoff atmosphere.
Speaking of alltime favorite Knicks, how does Stoudamire even get in a category with Ewing, Oakley, Houston, Starks, Johnson, etc. Seems to me he belongs with a Glenn Rice or Sprewell. I would think of this group that the only players that would qualify as alltime favorites one day would hopefully be Chandler and Anthony. And Kurt Thomas and Marcus Camby for what they did the last time they were on the Knicks.

no one can deny the heart, the love of the game that Stoudamire has. which is why i could always look past his terrible defense, and which is why i can personally say he's one of my favs. Starks is number one for me followed by Houston. Starks is the reason i started playing ball and would shoot around for hours. his jersey is the only professional sports players jersey i have ever bought.

I can deny Amare's heart...and almost directly due to his lack of effort on D. That guy has no excuse for being as soft and as poor of a rebounder as he is.

you can say you do, but you really don't actually deny it.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking, too. Actually, I think Sprewell would be ahead of Anthony because at least he had some big playoff moments.
But hey, if you like a guy you like a guy. Nothing wrong with that. I was just surprised, that's all.
