The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Embiid is just destroying Julius Randle. Walton is just letting him die out there, refusing to use any of the Steph Kerr coaching wisdom that was bestowed upon him.
Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

I grew up going to 76ers games. I ended up a Bullets fan, but let me just say, it is absolutely true that the NBA is better when the Sixers are relevant. Once we get through this Warriors super team crap and LeBron getting old, there is some awesome stuff on the horizon in the NBA. Philly, Giannis, Anthony Davis hopefully goes to a relevant team, I'm pretty excited.

Longing for a better future for the NBA when one of the 2 greatest players of all time gets old seems a little weird to me.
I mean I know what you're saying. The future looks incredibly bright for the NBA, but it's already pretty good despite the Warriors super team being essentially guaranteed the NBA title if their plane doesn't crash.

You don't think there will be "super" teams after the Warriors era ends?

I'm not saying it isn't great now. I'm just saying it seems as though most of the focus is still on him, justifiably, but once he becomes less relevant we won't have a lull. And as irrational as it is, I'm one of "those guys" that hates seeing the same people in the finals all the time (unless it is my team, of course, thus the irrationality). So yeah, I'm kind of sick of LeBron v. the Warriors already, and we'll probably have at least this year and depending on where he goes possibly another couple of years of that.
It is a faulty argument, I'm aware. *shrugs*

That's fair. I just don't think the league will ever see the level of parity found in other sports in terms of championship contenders. Only five guys on the court, limited number of true superstars, and their willingness/desire to play with with each other, etc.
Is LeBron gonna pick Giannis or Embiid and Simmons?
