not a huge accomplishment but none the less

today was the first day i got my heart rate up to 150 on purpose. i was a little worried at first as it stayed there for about 5 minutes during my workout but then dropped back to normal

probably my first intense workout in 4 years after having anxiety about getting my heart rate up since my episode 4 years ago

Has it been that long? Geez

Lots of volume on my current program. Week 5 of 13. Squat and bench 3x a week and deadlift 2x a week. Plus a metric ton of assistance/accessory stuff. We'll see how it goes. Weeks 1-4 were light, and culminated with AMRAP sets. Squat 315x10 (rep PR), bench 210x9 (mad at not getting 10), and deadlift 395x8 (meh...not a rep PR but it came after those squat and bench sets so not terrible) so okay so far. But weeks 9-12 look murderous, we'll see if I survive.

And I've somehow lost 2 pounds on this program. Not good. Everybody says you have to eat like crazy to survive this program so I have some work to do.

Still wandering around with a knee brace. Seems alright for squats and junk, but not ready to go back to training just yet

great. job on the squat and deadlift. those two exercises scare me because if you dont have perfect form you can do a lot more damage than good

Well impressed with the Squats and Deadlift weights - no way I'd be hitting that level
