The only thing worse than First Take with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. is First Take without Skip Bayless and Stephen A. These fill ins are unwatchable.

Aside from live sports and 30 for 30s you should not be watching ESPN.

At least as long as Lee Corso's still there. Who knows how good it'll be when he leaves.

I find it much more watchable with the fill-ins. Commentary isn't bad, but the topics are just stupid.

It's almost the opposite of First Take, except when Freddie Coleman said if he could start a franchise with any QB, he would pick Cam Newton. That was almost like the trolling that Stephen A. and Skip do. Especially when Skip said Michael Irvin was a better wide receiver than Jerry Rice.

I work from home 4 days a week so I have First Take or Cowherd or Number Never Lie or Olberman or whatever on in the background all day. It's either ESPN or cable news. If I'm going to listen to dumb opinions I want to at least be entertained. Skip and Stephen do make me laugh. The fill ins bored me.

I love how franchise tag day now gets more coverage than the MLB playoffs.

Does ESPN even realize the NHL regular season is happening right now?

I, for one, am hoping they show Adam Schefter ready to go with all his phones when free agency officially starts.

PTI is great. Wilbon and Kornheiser have their heads on pretty straight.

Ok so what is a better option than Sportscenter for highlights any given time of day?

I think SportsCenter should be the last place to look for more than 2 highlights per game. I like to go to each leagues' respective website to see a better recap of games. ESPN News isn't terrible for highlights either.

MLB Network if you're looking for baseball.

It really is much better. It's sad really. As a kid, I loved Baseball Tonight with Peter Gammons. ESPN used to be a better programming network than it is today now they are just desperate to squeeze blood from a turnip.
