i believe they said the unedited opening ceremony is available online this morning, but the moment has passed, hasn't it?

The best was when the Korean singer started singing that old Korean song near the beginning and the main two announcers say "lets listen in shall we" 10 seconds later the 3rd guy starts babbling about the song, and how its 500 years old and how all Koreans know it. Great, well the rest of us don't know it now since ya just talked through the whole song.

The N.Korean Cheer squad is awesome. If any of you are watching the Olympics, but have never seen a Baseball game from Korea, Taiwan, or Japan, imagine the N.Korean Cheer squad, but a whole stadium full doing that. So much more creative than, U.S.A. U.S.A. U.S.A.

He was “physically attacked” within hours of release into general population.

That’s rape, bruh. Just not enough to kill him yet. I think my <2 week prediction will hold.

Someone correct me if I have this wrong...

There is a story out today that a 2-time female gold medalist (track) has been found to have unusually high levels of testosterone for a woman but it’s been confirmed she is not taking any banned substances. It’s natural. And now they are going to force her to take testosterone reducing drugs in order to remain eligible??

That is fucked up. Like punishing someone for being naturally “too” tall.

She has to take medicine to reduce her amounts of testosterone her body naturally produces if she wants to compete.

Whereas when tests proved that Michael Phelps body produces less than half the lactic acid that his competitors produced, the Olympic committee praised how lucky he was to have such an insane ‘genetic advantage’.

There’s an article about Larry Nassar in SI this week and it is basically about a predator focusing on uninformed and/or unsuspecting prey.

The whole time I was reading it I was just thinking to myself this is the exact same relationship Donald Trump has with his base.
