What player would you get?

Players inevitably break your heart. I'd probably leave the back blank.

You should put "CHUD" on it. OR better yet, "cutuphalfdead"

Or Kessel. That would be awesome.

Good thinking. I prefer to do the same or go with guys who are already retired on the very rare occasion I purchase a jersey anymore (I've probably bought one in the last ten years). I did kinda want to get a Brooks Orpik USA jersey in 2010 though.

blank is always the way to go if your getting a baseball or hockey jersey.

I'd go blank over pretty much any active player (I kinda think it's weird when people wear jerseys of dudes who are like 5-10 years younger than them, but to each his or her own), but I think having a guy whose legacy is already written who played when you were younger is pretty cool if it's an option.

That's a pretty cool choice. I bet most Red Sox fans probably go with Williams or Yaz in terms of classic jerseys, right?

Gibson's career is probably better overall, but it's not like Pedro is some slouch compared to anyone else that ever pitched, including Gibson.
