I don't know, dude. I didn't bother to watch today. It's getting depressing.

Down 3-0 in the first period. Came back and tied it up 4-4 in the second. Lost in the end. I think we had something like 45 shots to their 21. Dub let in 5.

Its not good. We need to throw kuemper in there to ride the season out and let him get in a rhythm in case we need him in the playoffs.

I saw the highlights, crazy game.

I wouldn't go that far with the goaltending, man. Dubnyk is far better than Kuemper. He's not playing well right now, but he has a far better chance at being consistently good to great than Kuemper does. There are still games to go before the playoffs, maybe Dubnyk could rest a bit, but he's your horse, and the team will ride him throughout the post season. Let's just hope he gets hot again soon. He can ride a hot streak for weeks, and that's something Kuemper has never been able to do. I still have faith that the Wild will find their groove again. They have been far too good for far too much of this season for it to be flukey.

He's an incredible goaltender and he's our pony but yes i think we need to put Kuemper in to build his confidence and ability as a backup so that Dubnyk can release some of the pressure off his shoulders. He's in a massive slump right now which is terrifying heading into the playoffs. he needs help.

Glad, we are all busting out of our slumps. Now on to Peep's town for Thursday.

What a great time for Ottawa to win a game. And in regulation, too.

Dear god... if the standings stay the way they are right now (factoring in that Toronto actually has a better point percentage than Boston and is therefore technically in third in the division right now) Toronto and Ottawa would meet in the first round. And if Ottawa is able to overtake Montreal, Toronto and Montreal would meet in the first round.

That Toronto is in such a good position this early in the rebuild is amazing.

I have a feeling we will play the Rangers. But if we get that series it will be a lot of fun.

from what i saw it was. murray isnt that great at shootouts but a point is a point. usually winning the conference isnt such a big deal but all three teams want it so badly to avoid having a nightmare first two rounds.

will be interesting.

i love all people bitching that crosby had intent to injure. that slash happens probably 45 times a game and gets called twice.

Yeah, except you don't normally see a guy pull his hand out of his glove covered in blood, and then learn that the finger is shattered. Obviously Crosby gave it a little extra.

or it just hit the sweet spot. that slash was no more vicious as i said than any number of slashes that do not get called during every single game

Yeah, that slash should be a penalty because it's against the rules and the league is stupid for not calling that kind of stuff, but it happens all the time and rarely gets called.

The result was disgusting and it sucks for the Sens, but the play itself was pretty standard.

i completely agree, should have been called. but the fact that they dont call it 9/10 times im not going to worry about it. the games i watch crosby gets slashed, held, interfered with (just as im sure giroux, towes, carter and hundreds of other players do) and nothing gets called. then you give someone a sideways look and its a 2 minute roughing.

The league desperately need to go back to calling penalties they way they did coming out of the lockout. It's not that far off the way things were called in the dead-puck era at this point.

Plenty of room on the UMD bandwagon. My alma mater headed back to the Frozen Four!
