The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
To be honest, my patience and restlessness struggled by halfway through.
This is the No. 1 reason that I hate running. My anxiety level goes through the roof.
Interesting. I guess my runs are usually short enough that it's not a big issue.
When I used to live near downtown awhile ago, I would try to run along the lakefront. I would have a turnaround point that I could see because the path curved out towards the lake, and I would always be cognizant of far away it still was. It felt like those dreams where something keeps getting further away the more you tried to run to it. I hated every second of it.
running and passing people along the chicago lakefront is a all-time top-five malloy activity

4.41 miles at a 10:57 pace, without walking. The last .41 was at a 7:52 pace. Heart rate was down 5 beats also. It felt nice and mostly effortless. Hopefully this lends it self to shorter faster runs.

Do you do a loop starting from home and ending at home, or do you just start at the top of a big hill and run exclusively downhill?

Tonight an old friend who I only keep up with on Strava and Instagram came to my restaurant with her girlfriend, and we all talked about running and races for like half an hour. We sort of decided to sign up together for the Houston half in January. Good connections.

Ran my second seven miler of the week. Got up super early to hit the gym for a treadmill run. But it wasn't raining! So I got out to the park before sunrise.

With the upcoming time change I will need to get morning runs in. Only did 3.35 this morning and didn’t finish particularly strongly.. Wish I could have gone further, but my pace was decent so I’ll take it.
