Positive: I think today was my first 10 mile run since surgery
Negative: I didn't pay any attention to my watch and was shocked my mile pace was 8:59. I was expecting maybe 8:20. Mile four was almost 10 minutes! No idea what was happening out there.

That's a nice, comfortable pace for a 10 miler. Especially in the summer.

I ran 8 times since 2 Thursdays ago. Forcing myself to get out there and start walking, no matter how I feel. Take a right outside my house, up the hill then I can't fight the urge to run. I jog and run as much as I can, forcing myself to the limit then walk til I can go again. About 3-4 miles, not sure but it feels far. My stamina and endurance increase each time, and I'm always drenched at the end. The rapid increase in progress is fun to observe when you're this out of shape. I'll be fit in no time.

i was able to run 3/4's of a mile without walking, which has to be the most i've done at one time
i did 2 miles total jogging/walking at around 22:50, most of which in the pouring rain...it started to lightning so i drove home...when i got back it looked more clear so i did one more mile in 12:01 jogging/walking at a fairly moderate pace
