The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
after dropping my kid off to soccer practice, I decided to talk a walk around the practice facilities to close out my rings. I decided that once I hit the first mile I’d try to see if I could run the next mile without stopping.
the moment came and I went off at a nice pace. The fields are uneven with a few inclines here and there.
I made it all the way through nonstop for a 9’20 mile.
I hope my wife doesn’t lurk on the board or she’ll kill me.

I decided to go as far as I could without sacrificing too much pace, really hoping for around 9:45 the first two miles. Ended up a little slower, but I didn’t walk until 3.10. Walked two small intervals totaling no more than .07 I’m sure, and finished 4 miles at 38:46 with the last mile beyond the fastest. It felt great physically and mentally.

I can't help but think that you could have gone further if you sacrificed a little pace, brother. That's probably how alex did it.
Oh no doubt, but I wanted to stick to 4 right now plus the sun was going down. It’s been too long since I’ve gone that far, but I’m definitely going to start doing that more consistently. My next race is in two weeks and I’m going to do 2 maybe 3 of these prior.
