9:30am morning run. 5.5 in about 1:07. Legs were killing me first couple miles. Walked a lot. Pushed through. Felt good but all these 5 milers are catching up to me.

i’m proud of you…you’re motivating me to want to try some longer runs again
was really hoping to go tomorrow, but the weather likely won’t permit

Thanks pal. Let’s keep motivating each other.
oh we will
i think next I’m going to try to pace myself a little slower and go for a steady 4 miles…maybe around 42:00
I went for a walk today. We have trails all around my town. Big wide paths for walking, running, biking they go for miles. I went for 12 miles once on a lark I ended up in another town. Anyways today I was walking and I come around a bend and there are like 60 college kids. The UConn girls and boys running teams. I saw a couple other colleges. Everyone was tall, thin, ripped and beautiful. Most of the dudes had no shirts with 6 packs. The girls had on like those bike shorts with the tank top athletic half shirt things. It was like I walked into a model convention. People weren't that good looking when I went to UConn. I felt like Quasimodo walking by them.
