My past several runs have been 3 miles @ around a 10:30 pace.

Got up early today and did 5 miles @ 9:43.

Not a bad way to jump start a day. Hope y'all have a great one.

Very nice. I’ve been doing 4 miles around the 10:30 or a little less pace, then running hard til around 4:30-4:50. Hoping it pays off when I go back to just trying to get the best time possible here and there. Definitely not quitting the longer, slower runs though.

Going to do any races soon?

I'm not sure what Dad is up to. But I'm not planning on running any races soon, no.

3 miles in 29:00. Didn't walk, but also didn't try to kill myself so I'm happy. Stomach started feeling bad near the end, so i'm glad I was stopping at 3.

Nice!

Not about your stomach, but the rest of it.

Thanks. It's settled now, fortunately.

It's about to be rainy for the next week plus, so hoping to get another run in tomorrow after work.

Good man. I hate running late in the day, and especially after work. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'd rather go after work than at lunch, especially if I want to do a longer run. I just feel rushed and anxious.

Oh totally. I've never done a work out in the middle of a work day. That seems really stressful to me, actually.

I prefer getting up early and getting it all done before work.

I've gone a few times in the morning, but more often than not can't pull the trigger. I understand the appeal of knocking it out for sure, but i'm just not a morning person generally. My body is not ready.

I briefly thought about going Wednesday morning, but my goodness it was cold as f*ck. It's never been colder anywhere on earth ever.

That's how I feel every time I run outside from Dec - March.
