The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.

Oh shit, just saw your Strava entry. As bad as it sounds?
Seems pretty bad right now. My whole right leg is numb. The only other time I've heard a pop like that was my achilles and that knocked me out 3 full months.
But I'm a fast healer and this is my "down season" anyway, so it's not a huge deal. Other than, ya know, I love running.

Man, after months of nothing, I finally committed - 25 miles two weeks ago, 30 last week - and now I’ve got this kidney stone issue followed by vacation. It will be 3 weeks before I run again.
Are we going to run from The Hancock Building to Wrigley in August?
I will not be running to the shows, but I love running by Lake Michigan. I will absolutely be running there.
Eno River Run (10/27/18) [6 or 11 miles] Uwharrie Mountain Run (2/2/19) [8, 20, or 40 miles] Mountains-to-Sea Trail Challenge (4/7/19) [12 miles or 50km] Medoc Spring Race (5/4/19) [7.5 miles]

Yes. Garmin Connect sends the info straight to Strava.
I'm worried I'm gonna screw this up. I have strava garmin connect and the watch all hooked up. I'm assuming I can just go for a run and I'm all good now. I just start a run on the watch and bam right?
I'm starting to think about pace. I wonder is it good to keep a steady pace throughout a run or should I mix it up?

If you have your Garmin connected to your phone via bluetooth, everything will happen automatically when you walk through the door after your run.

You should mix it up occasionally. Putting on some speed in the middle or end of a run teaches your body to adapt and produce even if it's tired and you'll also get some lactate and VO2 benefits.
