3 miles at 31:50. I had Covid and it's taken awhile for the fatigue to subside, so i've only ran a few times over the last month.

I've been slowly recovering from whatever happened to my knee during the Brooklyn Half.

Yesterday was my first 6.5 mile run in like 6 weeks +. It went really well. 9:30 pace. Not too bad. Felt strong the whole time and probably could have pushed it a bit but wanted to take it easy.

How far had you been running?

Mostly just 3 miles. And I've been going at a very slow, 10:15/10:30 pace.

I have done two 5 milers, though. Each was a nightmare. Super tough. Felt every minute of them. This 6.5 was the first "good" run I've had in almost two months.

Oh man. Glad to hear that's improved.

Before Covid I had started trying to do 3.5-4 miles with as little walking as possible and ended up around that pace, maybe a little slow. I think I only made it 4 miles once without walking.

Good work, man. Love to hear you're still getting after it. Covid sucks, but it's cool that you're ready to hit the pavement again.
