12 week race training block started predictably this morning... Our son woke with a fever, preventing me from getting out the door for a run before work. I may or may not run three miles after we close the restaurant tonight.

I was planning on going tonight but my allergies f’n blow. Hope you can get out there.
Those will not be worn for months. Will wear out my others first. I took a two hour nap after work, and said screw it i'll run tomorrow. Ate some dinner then later decided I'd try to run. It didn't work out very well. Hopefully I go tomorrow afternoon and find bountiful success.
Solid run. 3.11 in 28:27. I was hoping to keep the first two miles around 9:30 then turn it up on the third mile and last .10. My splits ended up being:

Inspiring work on this page.
I went out for a run today in 50 degree weather. I've learned not to need long sleeves for anything above 40. The first mile kind of sucks, but then it's perfect. Anything below 60 is "cold" for the average Texan, so it was funny to see everyone out there super bundled up in gear.
I feel like I'm finally back into a good routine. Week two of half marathon training. 16 miles planned for the week.

4 mile tempo run after an extra festive holiday party last night was enough to coax me back into training season sobriety. I hit my paces but that was ROUGH.
