I just ran my first half marathon in under 2 hours. At the beginning of this summer my longest run ever was maybe around 8km.

Acid reflux is still burning in my throat. Crazy.

Or maybe it's my lactate level? How does that work?

Training on trails for my 11 mile trail run is going to kill me. I tripped the other day so hard that my shoe flew off, almost stepped on a 4 foot black snake, and did you know that it's possible to bruise the bottom of your foot? I did not.

You have to pay better attention to the ground and your feet.

Falling so hard your shoe flies off...lol.

Verb the thought of you having nothing to show for that 3 hour treadmill session is making me sad. Sign up for a half at least. Get a shiny medal to wear in your wedding photos.

Technically, I didn't fall. I stayed on my feet.

Maybe I don't have the attention span for runs over an hour.

It's possible. Don't get me wrong. I have hurt myself plenty of times, because I am not paying good enough attention, but I think I have sharpened up in my old age. The point is it's just a stupid reason to get injured.

Just got back from a 10km run. The most I'd previously been doing was around the 7km mark lately. Felt good, and I beat my personal best times from the 6km mark onwards - some by over 2 minutes, so I'm happy about that

Apparently that monster I saw on Saturday was someone's pet monitor lizard that outgrew its home. I posted it on FB and instantly a bunch of do-gooders were trying to guilt me into rescuing it because "the poor guy won't survive the winter." I hope a hawk ripped it to shreds over the weekend.

I just ran another half marathon. These leave mentally and physically exhausted.

You're a beast, dev.

My wife's going out of town this weekend so after tomorrow I don't think I'll be able to run again until Tuesday. Maybe a short one if I can convince my daughter to ride in the trailer. Oh well...a little rest before the 6-hour race next weekend might not be a bad idea.

I think I'm addicted to running now
I'm a runner now

I'm working up my stamina slowly but surely

I run around my lakeside community area

there are hills

I'm getting better at pushing myself to run up them as long as possible

my calves get pretty tight so I have to take a day off sometimes regretably

on that day yesterday i did my stationary bike only 250cal/30min cause poor poor baby cry and wife cooked

hard to fit in exercises with poor poor baby so young but i'm doing it

feeling fresh

strong good

Still waiting for that Strava follow, bro.

PS I also biked 8.6km yesterday but forgot to mention it.
